Yeomen (F)
At the Boston Navy Yard, Charlestown, Massachusetts, during World
War I. Halftone photo, published in a contemporary newspaper.
Marion F. Walsh is 4th from left in the second row.
Uniform regulations do not indicate that the jumpers seen here
were official, but the donor states that Captain William R. Rush,
Commandant of the First Naval District, required them to be worn
until the official Yeoman (F) uniform was available.
