Cozy (American Motor Boat)
Served as USS Cozy (SP-556) in 1917-1918

Cozy, an 50-foot wooden motor workboat, was built prior to World War I by L.P. Trader. She was placed in commission at the end of November 1917 as USS Cozy (SP-556) after being acquired by charter. Employed by the Fifth Naval District for the rest of the war, she was decommissioned in December 1918 and returned to her owner, Harry N. Collins of Franklin City, Virginia.
