Dispatch (American Motor Boat, 1916)

Dispatch, a 57-foot 7-inch motor boat, was built in 1916 by W.F. Dunn of West Norfolk, Virginia, probably as a working craft for employment in the Hampton Roads area. She was inspected in about 1917 for possible acquisition by the Navy and assigned the number SP-973, but remained in the hands of her owners, Hogshire & Hudgins, of Norfolk.

This page features the only view we have concerning the motor boat Dispatch of 1916.
