Duggan (American Barge, 1916).
Served as U.S. Navy Car Float # 10 in 1918-1920

The wooden-hull barge Duggan (1200 tons cargo capacity) was built at Sorrel, Quebec, in 1916. In August 1918, when she was owned by the Cullen Transporation Company of New York City, she was inspected by the Third Naval District and assigned the registry ID # 3286. Taken over by the Navy, she was renamed Car Float # 10 and employed in local service until late October 1920, when she was transferred to the U.S. Army.

This page features the only view we have concerning the barge Duggan of 1916, which was U.S. Navy Car Float # 10 in 1918-1920.
