Edgar F. Coney (American Tug, 1904).
Served as USS Edgar F. Coney (SP-346) in 1917-1919

Edgar F. Coney, a 153 gross ton tug, was built in 1904 by John B. Dialogue & Sons of Camden, New Jersey. She was chartered by the Navy for World War I use, placed in commission in September 1917 as USS Edgar F. Coney (SP-346) and based at Staten Island, New York. The tug was decommissioned in early July 1919 and returned to her owner, Philip Shore of Tampa, Florida.

This page features the only view we have concerning the tug Edgar F. Coney, which served as USS Edgar F. Coney (SP-346) in 1917-1919.
