Later USS Isaac L. Rice, 1918-1918

Isaac L. Rice was an accomodation barge owned by the Electric Boat Company and based in New London, Connecticut. The U.S. Navy chartered her in July 1918 for use as a submarine base at Provincetown. However, after brief service, she was returned to her owner in October 1918.

This page features our only view of the accomodation barge Isaac L. Rice, later USS Isaac L. Rice.
