Josephine (Motor Boat, 1913);
Later USS Josephine (SP-3295), 1918-1919

Josephine, a 48-foot-long motor boat, was built in 1913 at City Island, New York. The Navy acquired her for World War I service in late October 1918, just before the conflict ended and briefly employed her as a patrol and harbor craft in the New York area. USS Josephine was returned to her owner in early January 1919.

This page features our only view of the motor boat Josephine, later USS Josephine (SP-3295).
