Priscilla, a 67-foot two-masted schooner, was built at Kennebunkport, Maine, in 1884. Used as a pleasure craft prior to World War I, in June 1917 she was delivered to the Navy with the Section Patrol registry number SP-44. However, she was not placed in service and, in December 1917, was returned to her owner.
This page features our only views of the schooner Priscilla, which was in Navy custody in 1917.

before World War I. This photograph shows her from off the starboard
side, at anchor with shoreline visible in the left background.
