Qui Vive (American Motor Boat, 1916).
Served as USS Qui Vive (SP-1004) in 1917-1919

Qui Vive, 45-foot motor boat, was constructed in 1916 at Alexandria Bay, New York, as a pleasure craft. She was chartered by the Navy in June 1917 and commissioned as USS Qui Vive (SP-1004). Though initially assigned to section patrol service, the craft spent most of her Navy career as a hospital boat at Norfolk, Virginia. She was returned to her owner in June 1919.

Qui Vive
(American Motor Boat, 1916)

Underway, prior to World War I.
Acquired by the Navy on 22 June 1917, she was commissioned as USS Qui Vive (SP-1004) and served as a hospital boat at Norfolk, Virginia. She was returned to her owner on 7 June 1919.

The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM.
