Severn (American Ferry Steamer, 1891)

Severn, a 113 gross-ton wooden steamship, was built at Baltimore, Maryland, in 1891 for employment as a ferry. Still owned in Baltimore some twenty-seven years later, in August 1918 she was inspected by the Navy and assigned the registry number ID-3273. However, she was not acquired for Naval use.

This page features the only view we have of the ferry steamship Severn.
