Pass of Killiecrankie, a 1746 gross ton steel-hulled bark, was built at Port Glasgow, Scotland, in 1894 for commercial employment under the British flag. In about 1910 she was transferred to Norwegian registry and renamed Dyveke. She was again renamed Torrey in about 1914 and Stifinder in about 1917. On 24 May 1917 she collided with the steamer Selje in the Atlantic, with the latter sinking as a result of her damage. Stifinder was captured by the German submarine U-152 on 13 October 1918 and scuttled at sea.
This page features the only views we have concerning the Norwegian bark Stifinder of 1894, which was also named Pass of Killiecrankie, Dyveke and Torrey.
