Virginia (American Fishing Vessel, 1908).
Later renamed Dolphin

Virginia, a steam-powered fishing vessel of the "menhaden fisherman" type built in 1908, was later renamed Dolphin. She was examined for possible Naval service in about 1917 and assigned the "section patrol" number SP-318. Though reported as having been placed in commission in February 1919, she was apparently not taken over by the Navy.

This page features all the views we have concerning the fishing vessel Virginia of 1908, which was later renamed Dolphin.
