Zumbrota (American Motor Boat, 1914).
Served as USS Zumbrota (SP-93) and YP-93 in 1917-1927

Zumbrota, a 70-foot motor boat built in 1914 by the Matthews Boat Company of Port Clinton, Ohio, was subsequently employed as a pleasure craft by circus operator C.E. Ringling of Sarasota, Florida. The Navy acquired her for World War I service, placing her in commission in August 1917. She operated in Florida waters during the rest of the conflict, and for several years afterwards. In 1920 she was renamed and redesignated, becoming YP-93. Stricken from the Navy list in November 1926, YP-93 was sold in May 1927.

This page features all the views we have of the motor boat Zumbrota, which served as USS Zumbrota (SP-93) and YP-93 in 1917-1927.
