HMS Devonshire (Cruiser, 1904-1921)

HMS Devonshire, a 10,850-ton armored cruiser built by the Chatham Dockyard, was launched at the end of April 1904. Following completion in 1905 she began active service with the Channel Fleet, and between 1907 and 1914 operated as a unit of the Atlantic and Home Fleets. During the first two years of World War I Devonshire served with the Grand Fleet, primarily performing patrol duties in the northern North Sea area. In 1916-1918 she was assigned to Western Hemisphere waters. Not needed after the end of the "Great War", HMS Devonshire was scrapped in 1921.

This page features all the views we have concerning the British armored cruiser Devonshire.
