    USS William B. Preston (DD-344) defeated USS Black Hawk (AD-9) in this contest, with the sum of 19,000 Mexican silver dollars being wagered by interested parties.
    Destroyer in the right background appears to be USS Truxtun (DD-229). Black Hawk is at left.
