    Knights of Columbus Postal Card for Returning Troops, 1919

    Front side of a card used by returning troops to report their arrival home from Europe. This example was sent on 22 February 1919, reporting the arrival of a St. Louis, Missouri, serviceman in USS Pueblo (Armored Cruiser # 7).
    The reverse side of this card is seen in Photo # NH 103582-A-KN.

    Knights of Columbus Postal Card for Returning Troops, 1919

    Reverse side of a card used by returning troops to report their arrival home from Europe. This example was sent on 22 February 1919, reporting the arrival of a St. Louis, Missouri, serviceman in USS Pueblo (Armored Cruiser # 7). Probably named Charles Guenther, he was a member of Company F, 161st Regiment of the U.S. Army's 41st Division.

    Four of the U.S. Pacific Fleet's armored cruisers are seen steaming in column. The lead ship is either USS Pennsylvania (Armored Cruiser # 4) or USS Colorado (Armored Cruiser # 7).
