    Outside the after deckhouse on USS Isabel (PY-10) in 1923.
    The original print was marked by the donor with ship's radio call letters.
    Note the fancy woodwork on this deckhouse, which was installed aft of Isabel's mainmast during the 1920s.

    Lieutenant (Junior Grade) Carroll Dayne Reynolds, USN


    On board USS Isabel (PY-10), circa 1928-1931.
    Born in Texas on 23 October 1903, Reynolds graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1925. After seagoing service in USS New Mexico (BB-40) during 1925-1928, he was transferred to Isabel and served in her until 1931. He was promoted to Lieutenant (Junior Grade) on 4 June 1928.
