Itara (YTB-391, later YTM-391), 1944-1982

Itara, a 237-ton harbor tug, was built at Morris Heights, New York. Placed in service in December 1944, she served for decades in the Norfolk, Virginia, area. Itara was stricken from the Naval Vessel Register in March 1982.
