USS LST-672, 1944-1947.

USS LST-672, a 2366-ton LST-511 class tank landing ship, was built at Ambridge, Pennsylvania. Commissioned in June 1944, she took part in the invasions of Leyte and Okinawa in 1944-45. After the Japanese surrender, she supported occupation activities in Asia until departing for the United States in April 1946. LST-672 decommissioned in June 1946 and was sold in January 1947.
