USS LST-757 (1944-1948)

USS LST-757, a 2366-ton LST-511 class tank landing ship built at Ambridge, Pennsylvania, was commissioned in mid-August 1944. She served in the Pacific during the rest of World War II, taking part in amphibious landings at Lingayen Gulf in January 1945 and at Mindanao in April. LST-757 remained in the western Pacific for several months after Japan's surrender, then returned to the United States. She was decommissioned in late May 1946 and sold for scrapping in May 1948.

This page features the only view we have concerning USS LST-757.
