USS PC-810, 1945-1950

USS PC-810, a 173-foot submarine chaser built at Portland, Oregon, was commissioned in April 1945. She served in the eastern Pacific during the remainder of World War II and the first months of the post-war era. PC-810 decommissioned in February 1946 and was stricken from the Navy List the following May. She was transferred to the Republic of Korea in early 1950 and renamed Chiri San (Korean Navy # PC-704). Chiri San was sunk by a mine in December 1951.

This page provides information on USS PC-802. We hold no pictures of this ship during her U.S. Navy service. However, photographs of her taken after transfer to the Korean Navy can be found under her ROK Navy name Chiri San (PC-704).
