    Donated to the Balboa Naval Hospital, San Diego, California, by Chief Turret Captain John S. Upton, USN (Retired), 1967. He had enlisted in the Navy in 1907.

    This ship appears to be the same as seen in Photo # NH 103929, and may well be USS Rhode Island (Battleship # 17) in about 1913.
