USS Sea Otter (SP-781), 1917-1919

USS Sea Otter, a 40-foot section patrol craft, was built at Lynn, Massachusetts, in 1913 as a civilian pleasure craft. She was acquired by the Navy for World War I service in June 1917. Following transportation employment in East Coast ports, Sea Otter was taken out of service some time after the end of the war and stricken from the Navy List in November 1919. She was sold in January 1920.

This page features the only view we have of USS Sea Otter (SP-781).
