USS Tallahatchie County (AVB-2) with USS Scorpion (SSN-589), April 1968.

In April 1968, near the end of her final deployment, USS Scorpion (SSN-589) came alongside USS Tallahatchie County (AVB-2), which was anchored off Naples, Italy. Several photographs taken at that time are the last known views of Scorpion and her crew.
