Photographed while serving as receiving ship at the Boston Navy Yard, Massachusetts, sometime after 1876.
Note that she has been partially housed over, but retains her masts and spars.

USS Wabash (1856-1912)


At the Boston Navy Yard, Massachusetts, while serving as receiving ship there during the early 1900s.
She has been housed over, with her masts cut down. Note Wabash's extensive stern decorations, and steam launch just beyond her stern.

Ex-USS Wabash (1856-1912)


At Eastport, Maine, where she was burned for scrap on 26 June 1913.
Wabash had been sold by the Navy in November 1912.
