USS PC-799, a 173-foot submarine chaser laid down at Portland, Oregon on24 July 1943 by the Commercial Iron Works; launched 14 August; and was commissioned 3 August 1944.

Decommissioned after World War II, she was transferred to the Republic of Korea in early 1950. Renamed Kum Kang San (PC-702), she remained in Korean Navy service until 1960.
