1 to 1.5 in a Bob's type system - BUT be aware that you cannot depend on catalogue ratings. Two pumps rated at .4 cfm one produced .232 cfm the other produced 1.111 both at 0 psi back pressure. Then consider the depth = back pressure. Also consider the efficiency of your brew system, the recipe, the temperature. CFM? It depends! But there are a few items to consider. Been there. Done that.
