Steve,
Of course you can get the same results with Miracle Gro....won't taste as g=
ood, but you can and people do, grow big veggies using Miracle-Gro.
People don't grow big vegetables without fertilizer or soil that contains e=
nough soilfoodweb to provide nutrients.
As for the day light, we Alaskans go through this all the time: Of course, =
longer days can have benefits on some plants...oddly enough, though, many d=
o not do well with it. People who live in Anchorage, however, right next do=
or to Palmer have the same long days as our friends in Palmer but have a mu=
ch harder time winning in the big veggie department in the Fair. You can ch=
eck the records. It is the soil out there and the secrets....in John's case=
, his is in his compost tea.
Finally, I don't think I was making any claims about John's machine and for=
mula. He does and I hope you correspond with him about your concerns. You =
can reach him through www.alaskagiant.com
However, you might take back your comment about hyping the benefits of comp=
ost tea if you saw his gardens.
Cheers,
Jeff
