Well, if you are talking about nursery
grown native plant species, yes it
is feasible to get symbosis and
enhance establishment once these
plants are taken to the field, especially
if the site is disturbed; i.e.,
ecological restoration.

For well managed garden soils supplied with
organic matter over many years, do you
really need additional mycorrhizal
inoculant? Under what circumstances?

It has already been shared:

Get a reliable source of commercial
inocula.

Inoculant young plants to encourage
symbosis early on.

Practice humus management to provide a
conducive environment for inoculated
and/or native mycorrizal fungi to
flourish.

The myco-enriched nursery mix method
developed by USDA + Rodale is practical
and successful. Try that.
