Autumn - Can you lay the hose out down hill to let it drain? I don't know what RV is. ethyl acohol or sugar will prevent damaging freeze action if you can't drain. The pump is even more subject to damage than the hose. Be sure it is emptry. You vacume cleaner on "blow". will help eliminate water in both systems. Run the pump BRIEFLY while blowing at the inlet to the pump. Disconnect hose, remove the nozzle, blow until air comes out the other end. Hmm you don't have to do all of the above. Just one method for pump and hose

I haven't heard back from my customer about the car paint problem, so
I'm hoping they were able to get it off. Thanks for your tips, Nick.
(And no, Jeff, I didn't have high fungal numbers, they were very low.)

Now I how a different question. The weather has turned cold and I
want to make sure my skid sprayer on the back of my trailer and 300
ft. of hose on the hose reel doesn't freeze. The guy at Seattle Pump
who built it said to put in 3 gal. of water and 3 gal. of RV
antifreeze (which he said is non-toxic)and circulate it through the
system. I'm sure that will work, but before I do it I thought I'd
check to see if anyone else has done this- will I have any problems
with it rinsing out properly later on? Thanks for any assistance you
can offer.
