I get about two e-mails and my box is full, so I am grateful that I caught wind of this message.

Ray, you are very generous, thank you. Ray graciously volunteered, at request, as well as our fellow SFI Advisors James and Angel, and helped Dr. Ingham and myself represent at the SFI/Bob's Brewers booth, sharing their time and knowledge and insight of the industry with the amazing throngs of interested peoples who showed up this weekend at the booth at Acres USA Conference 2003!

Such a blast; we met fantastic folks; many talented individuals already aqainted with Dr. Ingham's work, using a biological approach in their endeavors who wanted specific info, and others who had just attended a lecture and had to know more!

All were interested in stepping it up with compost tea systems specifically deisigned to their needs that brew AND apply tea, using the SFI laboratory to assess the biology in their soils and tea to get specific with the B:F, P & N to accomplish their growing goals and wanting an entity which can perform and bring the Soil Chemistry Analysis Information inline with the Soil Biology Analysis - exactly what Ray is doing in Idaho, building a lab with Angel - and of coarse, for folks who are challenged with getting specific organisms (B,F,P or N) we had James debuting his innoculants. And Jeff Young is next door with Organic Gem completing, what together is, a tremendous Program. Meeting David Booher and Jeff Otto our other neighbors was wonderful as they really enlightened me to how they are helping folks along with getting biological in their approach as well with organic seed and specific nutrient products.

When Ray describes the dynamic of what was going on at that small corner of the ACRES Conference, it was nothing short of a biological powerhouse. Tools that get the job done from A-Z. I as well am so encouraged by implications of such collaboration and look forward to working more closely with these individuals. We all had much fun sharing with the awesome people who visited us and I believe that many of these people who picked up many great ideas in how to accomplish their goals, are returned home with great information and resources to put to work. Helping folks get biological and making it happen, how awesome is that?!

I can not fail to mention that I learn a great deal from the folks who wanted to ask us questions, their individual situations are always introducing new specific sets of circumstance and challenge! This is how we advance! Great meeting of the mind, super opportunity, thank yall. Especially Dr. Ingham, who encouraged us to participate and has given us the support to provide what we can to others.

This wasn't no "motivational speaking" affair, people are using these information, tools and systems that work.

Maybe another update about the conference from other attendees will appear as we continue to process this super meeting.

Judy, maybe the Q is: should we be there? Do you think the venue will be hosting participants interested in this type of information and service? If so, maybe we have a responsibility to be there, furthering the growth of this movement. I would be interested in it, could we talk you into being there with us?

Always~
Kev

Will you be at the Northwest Flower & Garden Show
in Seattle's Convention Center? It's from February 4th to the 8th.

ACRES report? Hey Bob, just got back yesterday from
Indy, weather back east has the airlines all messed up
so it took awhile. Myself, Jeff Young (Organic Gem),
Jeff Otto (East Coast Organics), David Booher (Great
Harvest Organics), James Sottilo (Treewise,SFI), Angel
Jones(Sustainable Services, SFI),Lindsay
Schramm(Verde-Aspen Eco Farms)and others formed a
little pack for our own entertainment and had a
constant smile on our face watching Kevin Richardson
(Bobs Brewers, Local Solutions). The man is a virtual
"one man show Dyanamo!". He constantly had
conversations going about your collaboration even when
the show was over. The other members of the group
mentioned on numerous occasions that any one of them
would love to have him come work for them and he was a
natural for trade shows. We formed some major power
pacts and the show was a success. I mean, really! a
big success. The word is out. I know I personally sold
more than a few semis of Organic Gem, Soil testing and
consulting, Bobs Brewers, and others within the pack
services and products. More later. RayG
