Happy New Year to Everybody,
First I want to thank Elaine for all her wisdom and I will not be
using a copper sprayer now that I know about copper leaching
and its detrimental effect on the compost tea. I have started to
read all messages and dialogue concerning the design of tea
brewing machines and ease of cleaning. Elaine is absolutely
right about this and if some folks need to redesign some of their
machines that is a good thing. We all have alot in this business
to learn and we need to suppor t each other because in the end
we are trying to save ourselves and the planet from destruction
and illness. I am a NOFA accredited organic landscape
professional myself and am trying to distill all of your information
for practical use. Personally I feel we should all try to get
involved on a political level as well and start changing the laws
regarding the use of pesticides etc. perferably banning them.
Canada has made great progress in this area and perhaps
there is information there we can use in the compost tea
business, just a thought. Back to spraying roses with tea to
answer the question someone wrote-I will need a sprayer large
enough to maintain some large climbers? Any further
suggestions are welcomed. Thanks, Mary Mintz
