It depends, Reece. What is the OMRI approved product? What is it supposed to do? How? What are the ingredients?

Make a batch of tea, add the product (maybe isolate a small amount of finished tea and add a ration of the product proportionate to what you would intend to add to a larger volume of tea), sample and have SFI test the tea; that'll let you know most directly the effect of the product on the microorganisms.

You can also consider doing seperate applications. OMRI Certified products suggest that the product is suitable for "organic" production as set forth by NOP. Does this indicate necessarily or absolutely that an OMRI Certified product will not negatively impact/effect the beneficial microorganisms we want present where the product is applied? Call the manufacturer? OMRI?

At some point you become the researcher... push the envelope, dude!

Hi evryone ,thanks for the help on the nematoad thing , I have another one for you , JUST because a product is OMRI approved intended for the growth of plants ,or protecton of plants and lawns , Does that mean ,It wont harm the microbes in the tea, for instance could i brew a load of tea and then add say a liquid concentrat that is omri approved for powdery mildew, I know the tea should help prevent this problem ,but say your customer already has the problem you need a liquid to mix it in anyway could you just put it in the tea and get the beneficial effects of both or would it hurt the tea , OMRI approved only products ? Thanks again Reece
