Dennis, we are a few decimals apart. Don't know that I am right but -

Is 100 gpa of ACT required for soil drench? I though SFI was talking 10 gpa. for soil drench, 5 gpa for foliar, I think more total fluid. ACT + water as a carrier. then maybe 100 g per acre. Now 100 x 500 = 50000 gallons per day for just 500 acres. A mega farm may have 10 to 20 tiems that aceage. 500 a day may not water it fast enough. .

Mega farms are putting this down with pivot sprays or other irrigaton sysems. Don't know any farmes putting down that much water with tank systems.

ACT is not easy to supply either at 500 x 10 = 5,000 gpd.

Our BobO500 will generate up to 1800 a day, our 1500 would generate 5,400. So it would keep up but that involves long days. Your term spray coupes is strange to me. What are they? What I see are big wells or big irrigation ditches. It takes lots of water.

Talking to a farmer with amazing knowledge talking about the NEED for water. Let me repeat what was said: " when plants grow they require NPK and many micro nutrients. If they don't get the microws they need they will keep sucking water trying to fill that need. Often much more water than they would need if the micros were available.
Compost tea can supply these micros in the right form and save tons of water.

If the micro nutrients are satisfied the plant closes the stomota, conserving water.
Big farms have a great effect on the ecology, aquafers and health of the population.
They use lots of everything including water. If compost tea is going to have a significant effect on those items it has gotta be used on most mega farms. Brewers need to have giant capaciy for that market. . Bob

acres daily with spray coupes and similar machines. Have you done
the math?500 gallon times 100 gals. per acre. 50,000 gallons of water
per day to soil drench. How many gallons is that per minute in a 10
hour day/night? Will need a big well, tank and pump among other
things. And I hate to put all that on without test results first.
Dennis BTW, I don't have the contract for that acreage yet.
