Virus snippet from http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1566598,00.asp

And now a word from the "I can't believe they still do this" department. We=
know our own Security Watch e-mail address has been getting spoofed lately=
, since we've gotten undeliverable e-mail with us as the sender, as well as=
a few virus infected (stripped by our AV before we see them) e-mails with =
us as the sender. However, we also get 3 or 4 e-mails a day from automated =
corporate antivirus installations telling us that we sent a recipient at th=
eir company an infected message. In the old (very very old) days, this migh=
t have mitigated infections by letting an unsuspecting person know they had=
a virus. Now all it does is add to the burden of junk email, since you're =
now e-mailing someone who probably isn't infected. Additionally they're con=
firming that there is at least a recipient at the other end of an e-mail ad=
dress, which means gold to spammers who may follow-up with thousands of uni=
nfected messages. We guess after all the press in eWeek, PC Magazine and a =
dozen other security sources, some companies have not gotten the message. S=
o, for the record, please don't set your antivirus to reply to senders sayi=
ng they have a virus.

Moderator here: Folks, if someone is telling you that they are getting m=
essages with you address in it, that is because you either have or had a wo=
rm get into your address book. You need to immediately run a virus scan on=
your email system including your address book, though it is probably too l=
ate to do anything about it. The internet is both a wonderful and a scary p=
lace, but it is free.
