The reports I sent only dealt with pathogens and I don't know about any oth=
er work with chlorine tolerance. I actually included them in support of yo=
ur statements. However, there may be hope for aerobic soil bacteria if it =
is ever found that those can also develop chlorine tolerances like the path=
ogens. There may be something in their individual chemical make up that pr=
events tolerance in aerobes but I don't have the foggiest idea. Maybe an E=
PA grant proposal? I don't have a lab but would be happy to investigate th=
e possibility and forward it to you.
