Consider that Matt Ryan is in the eastern US, and most of the work the rest
of us are talking about is west coast. There are several kinds of mildew and I
understand, talking to University folk, that out west, the same mildew
attacks roses as grape vines.

Matt Ryan might want to talk with the New York SFI lab about the work they
have done on the control of the various kinds of mildew in the eastern US.
