[compost_tea] Pond water and other inoculants
In other discussions off the list this week, the subject of
inoculating a new tea with pond water came up. I realize I'm asking
a question where the final conclusion requires testing, but what
might we expect would be the bacterial, fungal, and other benefits
of inoculating a tea with the following?
1. Balanced pond water (balanced meaning not stinky and with
apparent aquatic life)
2. Balanced aquarium water (not salt water)
3. A dog's outdoor drinking water (5-gallon bucket filled with a
hose on city water and, as much as possible, with rain.
4. Dog water treated with a Mosquito Dunk
5. (your water-based inoculant here)
