Worms have a great set of bacteria in their digestive systems, so the worm
caste can be really high in bacteria. If you put alot of fungal foods in the
worm bin, then you can have lots of fungi growing in the castes.

Bacteria and fungi release their waste products, which are, quite often,
simple sugars and proteins.

If worms are in the compost, and the worms die during the tea making process,
foam can result. Is it dead worms, or the bacteria and fungi in the worm
decomposing the worm that are causing foam? Don't know, don't really care.....
grin!
