[compost_tea] Re: Greenhouse
Beauveria bassiana a common but not gauranteed component of compost
extracts can control whitefly eggs, immature and adult whiteflies.
Paecilomyces fumosoroseus a fungal pathogen is also effective.

"Insect mortality due to fungal infection has been ascribed to the
destruction of insect tissues, the release of toxins, and nutritional
deficiencies."

A resent article in Compost Science and Utilization indicates maximum
biodiversity may be achieved in extracts by by using thermophilic
composts and vermicompost combined. (my interpretation)
