Folks:

Here is an interesting link involving rain and N content. This would seem =
to indicate that given normal rainfall, most soils have more than enough N.=
  The problem is getting that N into the root feeding zone and not having i=
t leech through the upper soil. It is a perfect reason why CT helps plants=
 and soil. CT extends root growth and mass which consequently exposes a lar=
ger portion of the root feeding zone. Since the root now uses the same pro=
portion to feed and that proportion is extended from say 2" to 6" or 8", th=
at much more nutrient bound in the soil and processed by biology is availab=
le for the plant on an as needed basis.
