Dear members of this interesting group,

my name is Alfred Grand, I am a farmer in Austria, Europe. We grow
corn, wheat, sugar beet, pea and vines for winemaking. We do that in
conventionell way (no organic). We also have a worm farm, selling
worms and worm bins to privates and schols (we have a project to
schools, sponsered by our government).
Now we would like to start a project, developing ACCT from casting
and compost as a benefit for enviroment, soil, farmers, parks, golf
courses, privates etc. Austria is a very enviromental friendly
country, eg. we have one of the highest rate of organic farmers in
the world (about 10% of the agricultural area ist organic).
Although we are very enviroment friendly, there is nearly no
research and use of ACCT neither in Austria, nor in the whole Europe.
I read two books on this topic from Dr. Elain Ingham, and I would
like to convince the government in doing research on this topic.

Now my questions:
Does anyone here know of European research and development in the
use of ACCT?
In which application does ACCT have the best results? We would like
to make ACCT from a mix of Compost and Casting, and then use it on
different plants and soils. To have the full support of the
government we would be glad to have good results at beginning. We
thought of using  a well balanced bacterial to fungal tea on turf
(parks etc), because there we have also leaf and soil benefits. A
benefit would also be, the sustainability of this usage (organic
waste is converted to compost and ACCT, which is used in parks).
Is this a good Idea or are there easier ways to show the benefits of
ACCT to politics and decision makers?

best regards from Austria, and thanks for sharing all the infos on
this forum!
