[compost_tea] Re: introduction and first questions --> laboratories
Here are a couple of additional notes in
relation to "Alternative Soil Testing
Laboratories" and "Notes on Compost Teas."
There are three labs (that I currently
know about) offering a specialized
service for compost tea analysis.
These include:
BBC Labs
Soil Foodweb, Inc.
Woods End Research Laboratory
Each lab has their own specialty
and expertise, including microbial
methodologies. Each has a large
number of regular clientle.
Please note the compost tea publication
was last published in 2002. Likewise,
a previous edition came out in 1998 with
earlier literature citations.
I'm teaching workshops on compost teas at
conferences and workshops. I provide
an updated resource list on compost teas at
these workshops. Likewise, farmers who
contact me at ATTRA can get the updated
resource list.
ATTRA is an information service geared to
farmers and others in commercial agriculture,
in the U.S. It is a research service providing
technical resources on sustainable
and organic farming, among a number
of related topics. We don't have the
capacity to provide research assistance
to home gardeners and students.
