small scale grain harvesting

friends - here are some websites I discovered on my search for small scale
grain harvesting equipment:
www.domyco.com/const-agri-equip/pump-spray-thresher.htm

 hoffmanmfg.com/ndx.html

www.agrobengal.org/profiles/machine.htm

www.oneworld.org/itdg/journals/atindex.html

www.cgiar.org/irri

www.cgiar.org/cimmyt

also, search for "Cecoco." I found a mail address for them, but no
website. You can order the "Guide Book for Rural Cottage and Small and
Medium Scale Industries and Paddy Rice Cultivation." Write: Cecoco, po Box
8, Ibaraki City, Osaka 567, Japan.

Also, see Whole Grains: Grow, Harvest and Cook Your Own, By Sara
Pitzer, pub. by Garden Way 1981. Has plans for a simple pedal-powered
thresher.

That's as much as I've come up with so far. Heard of a thresher made
from a reel-type push lawn mower. Heard it works quite well, at least on
dry beans. Anybody know where I can find the plans for it?

I will post futher info as it comes in.
