honestly i do not see remarkable difference between my approach and the one
of sahtouris - and as far as i grok jared diamond ist coming from a
comparable angle. when i called his approach in the book "scinetific and as
unbiased as can be" i was trying to indicate, that 1. he knows how to play
it and explain it in a way that is acceptable for the leftbrained guys as
well, and 2. that he does not allow his heart to cloud his brain - this is
no indicvator that he has a lot of heart on the correct spot. have you read
the book? if yes, do you object my observation?

i couldnt find fundamentally "contrary info" - eisler herself sais "There
are dominator elements in every country," - and according to historic
circumstance it is either the dom or the coop mode that reflects the "main
stream" of any given people in any given historical period. but maybe i have
overread something?

great stuff, i teach and have taught this attitude myself, and fairly
successfully tryed to deal with my kids that way (even tho the mothers of my
kids didnt always approve ;o), but my eldest surely did, as he recently told
me, now being 20) - but i do not see the direct connection to the subject at
discussion?

if this would be so, i wonder what motivated the inka, the aztec, or the
bantu into setting up huge colonial empires, enslaving or extincting a
multitude of different languagegoups - as far as i know they didnt even have
money. but having lectured against usury myself several years ago, i know
how easy it is to see it as the root of all evil.

:o) thanks, i am a cheerful person. but i didnt talk about possibilities,
but about baggage - past, to_be_worked_on, etc. still the title intrigues
me. i will see what i can find here in a german-dominated country.
