Hi,
I have checked Falls Lake shorebirds spots (a few places S from HWY 85
bridge) this morning and all are flooded. There was no one place with
solid sand or mud. However I found one group of shorebirds feeding on
drifting logs and dirt. In addition there were 5 Killdeers along roads
and 3 on Lake Ridge Aero Park.
Here is that nice, small group drifting on the lake near Cheek Rd
bridge:
Pectoral Sandpiper - 12
Dunlin - 2
White-rumped Sand. - 1 juv. (they are here!)
Least Sand. - 24
