After what seems like a long hiatus--our last winter vagrant hummer
was banded on 20 December--we visited Rock Hill SC today (17 January
2003) and captured an adult female Rufous Hummingbird.
An account of the banding is on the Web site for Hilton Pond Center
for Piedmont Natural History at

Happy Winter Hummingbird Watching,
BILL
