Among the throngs at the backyard feeders today, a day that saw two inches
of snow fall near Twelve Mile Creek in Lexington county, was a lovely red
Fox Sparrow. At one point today, there was a Pine Warbler, a Downy
Woodpecker, and a Carolina Wren all eating on the same suet cake at the
same moment. Among yesterday visitors, in the group feeding in advance of
the "snow event", was a Rusty Blackbird.
