Today, 3/6, I saw my first Northern Parula of the year at Low Falls Landing
in Calhoun Co., SC. The parula was a beautiful male but curiously it never
sang or called, it was just hanging out with a bunch of Yellow-rumped
Warblers. Low Falls is just off the Santee River in the upper Santee swamp
of Lake Marion.
