Hi Birders,
Yesterday, Steve Thomas lead a Waccamaw Audubon Field Trip along
Hardwick Road north of Conway, Horry County SC. There were a total of 7
participants. Along with the usual suspects two harder to find birds
were spotted. A lone American Pipit was seen working a wet grassy spot
in a field and in another field three Horned Larks were found.
Additionally a probable Purple Martin was a flyby. Also had good looks
at a male Am. Kestrel feeding on a grasshopper.
